Institutional investors have put a further $90m into the Bermudian (re)insurer Alea Group Holdings (Bermuda), which says it now has $600m of operating capital.
Alea says that it has more than $400m in statutory operating capital, with the total $600m available to operations in Bermuda, the UK, the US and Switzerland. The company is the holding company for the Alea Group, which was formed in 1997 by management and the investment company Kohlberg Kravis Roberts.
